Joanne - Artistic Director and Colorist
Joanne’s career started in 1980. Throughout the years, she has worked with many great stylists and has seen many trends in hair. When she moved to Texas in 1989, the spiral perm was on the way out and Joanne realized that clients wanted to look like the stars. It wasn't about the cuts as much as the many uses of colors. While in Texas, she worked as an educator with Sebastian. Over the years, Joanne found that the key to client satisfaction was education: hair shows, seminars, hands-on classes, anything to become the best colorist possible. In 1999, she and George returned to the Poconos where they continued their careers before opening the studio.
She believes in personalizing each client’s cut and color to suit the individual hair type, facial shape, lifestyle and desire. She likes to initiate changes to keep each client looking forward to the next visit.
Her education includes: Color & Texture with Beth and Carmine Minardi, Redken Advanced Color, Color and Cutting with The Doves, Nick Arrojo, IBS NY, Martin Parsons International Beauty Show , New York, Vidal Sasson, Pivot Point and Sessions Styling with David Glover. Colors worked with include: Matrix, L'oreal, Goldwell, Wella, Clairol, Logistics, Schwartzkopf, Framezi, and Redken to name a few. Certified in Brazilian Keratin Treatment
Heather became passionate about hair styling at a young age. After working with the challenges of her own thick curly hair, she realized her love for styling. After becoming a licensed cosmetologist at the age of “17” she became a color apprentice at our salon. In no time clients recognized her styling talents and started booking with Heather for special occasions. With many awards under her belt, she has the eye and technique to make you look astonishing for that special day.

George - With his progressive techniques, stylish approach, and natural eye for detail, George is at the top in his feild. He is much sought after by men and women of all ages and lifestyles. He has a keen eye for the art of color design, and can translate artistic styles into livable practical cuts. George believes communication is the key, and likes to know his client by opening a dialogue about their vision for their hair so he can achieve the best look suited for them.

Brittany Singer
Brittany has always had a passion for hair and make-up. At age 22 she made the decision to travel overseas to attend The London School of Beauty and Make-up in London, England for fashion/photography and media hairstyling and make-up. During this time she decided to further her career in hair and make-up and graduated with a license in the hair industry from Metro Beauty Academy. Stephanie - National Registerd Colorist
Stephanie’s beginnings were with the hair stylist, Randy Rick. After working in Reading for a while, she made her move to the Poconos, then went to Massachusetts where she became a National Registered Hair Colorist. We were excited when Stephanie joined our team in 2007.
She is like the Energizer Bunny; when she is not coloring hair at AMCS, she is running marathons or mountain biking.
Kelly - Stylist and Colorist
Professional Hairstylist and Colorist, Kellys greatest satisfaction is seeing the smile on a client's face after giving them a beautiful hairstyle. She is known to put herself in her clients shoes, always ensuring the best quality possible. From the cut, to the color, to the style, Kelly enjoys getting creative with all aspects of hair.
